The Management Information Systems (MIS) Program serves as the central information technology agency for the County of Maui. The MIS Division assists the County's departments and agencies in the use of computer technology to achieve their goals and objectives.
The MIS Division is responsible for: establishing hardware, software and network standards; monitoring the acquisition, development, and use of computer technology; maintaining an effective end user support program; and, the continuing evaluation of information systems technology for potential County applications.
Currently, the MIS Division supports in excess of 1000 PC’s, 300 printers, 50 application and network servers and numerous applications. The Division maintains a comprehensive infrastructure of LANs and WANs, which reaches across Maui, Molokai, and Lanai, and connects to information systems on Oahu and the Mainland.
The MIS Division is also working on improving the availability of the information the County collects and creates. To that purpose, more downloads are provided via the website or our ftp servers. Please contact our Helpdesk or webmaster if you have questions regarding this service.
