Description
Waiehu Golf Course’s 18-holes overlook a stunning tourmaline blue sea, the famous Waihe’e Reef in sight, just offshore. Entering from Lower Waiehu Beach Road, one sees the clubhouse “complex” complete with:
- Café
- Restaurant
- Golf-cart rentals
- Pro shop and registration office
Sharing the beachfront with Waiehu Beach Park, beautiful white sand beckons from below the sixth, seventh, and eighth holes on the makai side. Waiehu Golf Course hosted the 1996 USGA Amateur Links Championship, and several local leagues regularly hold events there. The 174 acres are located between the towns of Waihe’e and Waiehu, and are easily-accessible from Kahekili Highway (34) from both North and South.
