The Parks Planning and Development Division develops, schedules and implements the department's Capital Improvement Plan to meet the recreational and leisure needs of the public.

This also includes the review of new subdivision and community development plans for proper location and acreage of park spaces to accommodate the projected population's recreational requirement.
