Baseball
A variety of organized T-Ball and Baseball leagues are currently operating on Maui during the summer and after school. There is a league for every age and every skill level. All teams are coached by dedicated volunteers and are sponsored by non-profit associations or the County Parks and Recreation Department.Community baseball programs have for many years provided youths with a wholesome and enjoyable experience that helps them develop into contributing citizens for the betterment of the community for future generations. As a youth oriented activity, the coaches and volunteers strive to emphasize the importance of participation over competition. A quote from the National Little League Association's handbook bears a message that volunteers take to heart while being positive role models to children, "Whether we win or lose, I will always try my best."
