Overview
The Appellate & Forfeiture Division handles appeals to the Hawai`i Intermediate Court of Appeals, the Hawai`i Supreme Court and the United States Supreme Court, post-conviction proceedings, and federal habeas corpus cases before the federal courts.

The division also handles asset forfeiture cases, where property used in committing crimes or received as proceeds of crimes are taken from criminals and are used for law enforcement purposes.
