Overview
The Motor Vehicle and Licensing Division provides direct service to the citizens of Maui County by issuing new and renewal licenses, motor vehicle registrations, various county business licenses, disabled parking placards, taxi driver permits, dog licenses and bicycle licenses. This division also administers commercial driver licenses, periodic motor vehicle inspections, and the issuance of disabled person's parking placards on behalf of the State of Hawaii.

Class 3 Road Test Appointment Information
Self Service
Hawaii DMV Now is a self-service DMV kiosk that offers a fast and easy way to renew your vehicle registration.
Online Service
Appointments are reserved for individuals completing a transaction for themselves. If a dealer, fee for service agency, rental car representative or tow companies makes an appointment, it will be canceled upon your arrival and you will be asked to drop off your title and registration work.
 
 Before making your appointment 
check to see if you have the required documents for your Driver License/Permit or Hawaii State ID.
 Make an appointment at our Kahului Service Center, Kihei & Lahaina offices one (1) appointment per person.
