Responsibilities
The Committee on the Status of Women develops information as the State Commission on the Status of Women requires or as the Committee deems advisable concerning the status of women within the County.
This committee also submits to the State Commission plans and proposals affecting the status of women in the County. Endeavors to secure the widest possible citizen participation in its efforts and may utilize existing public or private organizations.

The Maui County Committee on the Status of Women (CSW) is a seven-member volunteer group of mayoral appointees that advocates for social justice, educates women on their rights, educates women to vote, engages in political processes, gathers information on women's issues, promotes women's equality, and serves as a resource for women through programming, public education, and citizen participation.
2022 Women of Excellence Awards
Nominations are being accepted for women who reside in Maui County to be honored as “Women of Excellence” during Women’s History Month (March 2022).
Committee on the Status of Women Survey
