What is the Budget?

The Budget is the County’s financial plan for the fiscal year. It determines how much money each County department receives to carry out services. It also sets forth the amount of grant money offered to community organizations and Capital Improvement Projects, such as road paving, park improvements and water system upgrades. The Budget also dictates how much it will cost you to utilize County services and the amount of money the County will collect through taxes and fees.
