COVID-19 Precautionary Measures


Water bill credit card convenience and transaction fees, as well as E-Check Fees, will be waived beginning Tuesday, March 24, 2020, through June 30, 2020.
The Department of Water Supply is following recommendations to encourage social distancing for the benefit of County employees and residents and we are encouraging our customers to pay water bills by check or credit card.

Bills may be paid at Kalana O Maui, 200 South High Street in Wailuku:
2nd Floor Payment Hours - 8:00 a.m to 3:45 p.m.
5th Floor Customer Service and Payment Hours - 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Fiscal/Customer Service Division Responsibilities


The Fiscal/Customer Service Division is in charge of accounting responsibilities and customer service including:
  • Budget development
  • Budget control
  • Overseeing the annual audit
  • Long-range financial planning
  • Advising BWS on fiscal matter
  • Payroll preparation
  • Centralized purchasing
  • Maintenance of stores inventory
  • Process and research claims for damages
  • Provides customer support
  • Processing of bills and payments
  • Tracking and responding to customer inquiries and service requests
  • Collection of delinquent accounts
  • Handling water service applications
  • Administering rules and regulations relating to water service
