This project consists of the removal of existing pavement down to the gravel subbase within the road right-of-way, and installing a new asphalt concrete pavement section with reinforcing geogrid. The scope of work also includes installing new pavement striping and markers, replacement of existing water system, adjusting manhole/valves frames and covers where needed, removal/replacement of dented guardrails and removing/replacing signage and posts.
The hours of operation will be from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday with one lane alternating traffic, and an anticipated weekend full road closure starting in early December. Weekend hours will be from 7:00 am Saturday until 6:00 pm Sunday with detour route in place. There will be no activities on holidays.
