About EP&S

The Department of Environmental Management, Environmental Protection & Sustainability Division (EP&S) was established in 2016 to fulfill the 2012 County of Maui Charter Amendment that the department shall “guide efforts to optimize opportunities for environmental initiatives, natural resource protection, sustainability, conservation, and restoration.”
