Park Permits
Procedures for permit applications and inquiries
For community center reservations
- With the re-opening of the permit office customer service windows, we will be processing community center reservations on the regular first-come, first-served basis.
- Questions about center rentals can be accommodated via telephone or email. Please contact the appropriate district by telephone. Contact information can be found below under "Locations".
To talk with staff for all other permit types
- Questions can be accommodated via telephone or email. Please contact the appropriate district with the contact information below found under "Locations".
- In-person meetings are by appointment only and will be conducted one person at a time. Please call the appropriate district to schedule an appointment.
For all submittals/drop-offs
- Place items in the drop box located in front of district each office. No cash please.
- All documents will be brought in at the end of the day and quarantined for 24 hours prior to being processed.
For scheduled in person appointments, the following restrictions apply
- All individuals must wear masks and practice social distancing.
- Please use hand sanitizer when first sitting down at the window.

Payments, Cancellations & Refunds
Payments for reservations must be made by the applicant.
Payments made less than sixty (60) days from the start of the activity will only be accepted in cash or money order.
Check Acceptance Policy:
- All checks must be made out to: County of Maui
- Post-dated checks will not be accepted.
- Third party checks will not be accepted. Account holder will need to provide verification by presenting a valid government-issued picture ID at the time of payment.
Service charge for each returned check (NSF): $30.00
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations can only be made by the applicant of record, in person with a valid picture ID or by mail according to instructions received at the time of a cancellation request.
