Overview
Highways Administration oversees and directs all Highway Division programs and provides personnel, budget, and management services. The program is also responsible for training equipment operators, writing specifications for new equipment and County rights-of-way code enforcement.
The Special Maintenance program provides janitorial and grounds-keeping services for:
- Hana Civic Center
- Veteran and County Cemeteries
All other County facilities are handled by their respective departments.
Other Functions
The Special Maintenance program also funds maintenance and repair costs for County vehicles. Personnel costs for this maintenance are reflected in the Garage Services program in the Highway division.
