Program Description
The Landfill Disposal program is responsible for disposal of residential and commercial refuse at landfills located in Hana, Central Maui, Lanai, and Molokai and for the co-composting project at the Central Maui Landfill.
Landfill Fees
Residential
The FY24 (July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024) fee for residential users of the Central Maui Landfill is $4.00. All other landfills are free of charge for residents. Accepted forms of payment are cash, credit card, and debit card. Please note that a 2.35% processing fee is added to credit/debit payments.
Commercial Accounts
Commercial haulers and businesses hauling their own rubbish and green waste must have a commercial account. Applications for commercial accounts are available at the scalehouse, and at County offices on Maui, Molokai, Lanai, and in Hana.
