Services
The Garage Services program provides the following services for the Highways division:

• Vehicular and construction equipment maintenance and repair services
• Fuel and lubricants
• Tire repair
• Heavy equipment / construction welding services
• Body and fender repairs

Garage services are also provided to other County agencies with the exception of the Police, Water Supply and Fire departments, who are responsible for their own garage services. Services are provided on Maui (Wailuku, Makawao, Lahaina and Hana baseyards) and Molokai. Limited service is available on Lanai.

Costs
Operational costs for services to County departments and agencies other than the Highways division are funded under the Special Maintenance program in the General Fund.

Personnel costs are appropriated in this program.
