The County of Maui, Department of Parks and Recreation announced updated procedures for reservations at County pools.
Reservations for use of County pools continues to be available from 8 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Swimmers must be at least 13 years old to reserve a lane.
Calls for reservations cannot be made earlier than 48 hours in advance. However, reservations on Friday can be made for pool use on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
Reservations for 45-minute lap swimming can be made by calling (808) 270-6116
Phone message will prompt caller to make a reservation at the pool of their choice
Reservations are being taken on a first-come, first-served basis
Only one (1) reservation per person, per day is allowed
No same-day reservations are allowed
There’s been a high volume of calls from the public for open swimming lanes, but those seeking reservations are urged to keep calling if they have difficulty getting through to a reservationist
IMPORTANT REMINDER: If you are sick and have a reservation to swim, please call to cancel your reservation. All swimmers are asked to do their part to keep our kupuna and community safe from COVID-19.

Pool rules have been revised to prevent the transmission of the coronavirus. They include requiring pool users to use face covers when not swimming and observing physical distancing requirements of at least 6 feet from other pool users.
Pool users are reminded that an ID will need to be presented when checking in for reserved time.
