Reservation phone lines available for Waiehu Municipal Golf Course

The County of Maui, Department of Parks and Recreation announced additional phone lines for reservations and other updates at Waiehu Municipal Golf Course starting Wednesday, June 3, 2020.


Reservations:

Reservations can be made by calling (808) 270-7400, (808) 757-4316 or (808) 357-9270

Weekday phone reservations start at 6:30 a.m. Weekend and holiday phone reservations start at 5:30 a.m.

Reservations can be made no sooner than 48 hours before the date of play

Payments for golf reservations are made at the Starter’s Booth; payment is accepted with credit or debit cards only

NO walk-on players or stand-by list will be accepted

Only golfers with reservations will be able to play


IMPORTANT REMINDER: If you are sick and have a reservation to play, please call to cancel your reservation. Players are asked to do their part to keep our kupuna and community safe from COVID-19.


Golf course play:

All tee times are limited to 9-minute intervals

Play is limited to groups of up to four players. Players may walk or use golf carts, but are required to keep up an acceptable pace of play

Groups of 10 players or more are not permitted, and club/league play is not allowed

Golfers need to report to the golf course no sooner than 30 minutes prior to tee time


Golf cart use:

Facial coverings must be used while in a golf cart if it is shared by two riders from different households

Golf cart driver/operator must remain in control of the cart throughout the round or until sanitized for the next operator


Facility rules:

Golfers need to wear face coverings and practice physical distancing of at least 6 feet

Active golfers may remove face coverings while playing on the course, but put them back on when not actively golfing and while at the Pro Shop, in restrooms and at the check-in counter

 No socializing on golf course grounds or the parking lot; golfers are politely reminded to “Play and Don’t Stay”
