Central Maui Landfill reopening tomorrow; adjusted schedule for Refuse Pickup on Maui Island only

The County of Maui announces that the Central Maui Landfill will reopen tomorrow, July 28, and refuse pickup will have adjusted schedules for Maui customers following Hurricane Douglas.

The following changes to refuse pickup schedules applies to residents of Maui and NOT to residents of Molokai or Lanai:

Monday Refuse Pickup

  • All refuse customers regularly scheduled for pickup on Mondays should put their trash bins out for pickup tomorrow (Tuesday, July 28).

Tuesday Refuse Pickup

  • All refuse customers regularly scheduled for pickup on Tuesday, July 28 – your pickup day is rescheduled to the following day. Please place your trash bins out for pickup on Wednesday, July 29.
