Mayor Michael Victorino announced that the County of Maui’s summer youth program has been extended until Sept. 25 to further assist families impacted by COVID-19.
The program in partnership with Maui Family YMCA remains only $10 per week for families, and you do not need a YMCA membership to sign up.
“We need to continue supporting our families, including our front-line heroes and parents who cannot work from home,” Mayor Victorino said. “This has been a wonderful program and partnership with Maui Family YMCA, and we want to mahalo them and our County workers for making it a success.”
Parents can register their children for the summer youth program at www.mauiymca.org/day-camps/.

South Maui Community Park Gym
The summer youth program is funded by CARES Act funding through a public-private partnership. YMCA is a national organization with experience in childcare as well as specialized training in COVID-19 health and safety precautions.
