New Wailuku Pool to reopen Thursday, Oct. 15

The County of Maui, Department of Parks and Recreation announced that the New Wailuku Pool will reopen on Thursday, Oct. 15. Reservations for lap walking will be taken Wednesday, Oct. 14, for Thursday and Friday.

Reservations can be made by calling (808) 270-6116. New Wailuku Pool hours are from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday and Wednesday.

The pool was closed Monday after a broken waterline was discovered. Progress on expedited repair work will allow the pool to reopen on Thursday.

The department apologizes for any inconvenience.
