A portion of Kaupakalua Road in Haiku will be closed to traffic on two Saturdays this month, Jan. 16 and Jan. 23, for a road repaving project, the Department of Public Works announced. Work hours will be from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The closure will be on Kaupakalua Road between Burns Road and Ulumalu Road. Electronic signs boards have informed residents of the pending project, and detour signs will redirect motorists during the project.
