Mayor Victorino expresses condolences to Councilmember Tasha Kama

“Joycelyn and I are saddened to hear that Councilmember Tasha Kama’s beloved husband David passed away on Friday and their daughter Davelyn joined him on Sunday. On behalf of the people of Maui County, we extend our deepest sympathy and aloha to Councilmember Kama and her ‘ohana during this extraordinarily difficult time. Elected officials rely on the support and understanding of their spouses and families, so we thank Mr. Kama and their daughter for their commitment and service to the Maui community. Our prayers are with Tasha and her entire family. She is a woman of faith so we know the Lord will comfort and console her during this time of tragic loss."
