The Maui County Department of Finance announces that it will reopen its customer service windows at the Maui County Service Center, beginning Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022.
The reopening affects services for the Real Property Assessment Division, Treasury Division’s Real Property Tax Collections, and Maui County’s Transient Accommodations Tax Office. These offices will be open Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Division of Motor Vehicles and Licensing will continue its operations by appointments only, until further notice.
“With declining numbers of COVID-19 cases, we can now safely reopen for in-person service for select Finance Department divisions,” Mayor Michael Victorino said. “I thank everyone for their patience and understanding for the weeks of modified in-person services to ensure the health and safety of our customers and County of Maui employees.”
Customers are still highly encouraged to use other methods of communication, whenever possible, such as email, telephone, mail, or online services prior to visiting these County offices, as we continue to protect the health and safety of customers and County employees.
