Trash pickups rescheduled for residents in Kula and Haiku

Due to a shortage of personnel, curbside trash collections have been rescheduled for pickup to Saturday, March 12, on a partial route in Kula, and to Monday, March 14, in Haiku, the County of Maui Department of Environmental Management announced. Trash was not collected today in the affected areas.                       The affected areas in Kula are Naalae Road, Holomakani Street, Kolohala Road, a portion of Haleakala Highway, Palena Place, Kekaulike Avenue, Wahelani Street, Ihe Place, Lower Kula Road, Inu Place, Waiakoa Road, Copp Road and all surrounding streets and roads.

The affected areas in Haiku are Awalau Road, North and South Holokai roads, the Rice Camp area, Kapuai Road, Lepo Place, Kili Place, Kihau Place, North and South Lanikai places, Mamao Place, Mopua Street, Pico Tract Road, Waipalani Road, Kawelo Road, Kekoanui Place, Haloa Road, Hamana Place and all surrounding streets and roads.
