Malama Maui Nui’s final by-appointment Go Green Recycling event set for Oct. 15 in Lahaina

The County of Maui Department of Environmental Management announced that Mālama Maui Nui will host its final Go Green Recycling event on Saturday, Oct. 15, in Lahaina. The monthly event is being discontinued because the current location will no longer be available.

On Oct. 15, the appointment-required event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022, in the parking lot mauka/behind the Lahaina District Court at 1870 Honoapiilani Highway.

To request an appointment, visit malamamauinui.org. Residents only.

Residents are encouraged to responsibly dispose of the following at no charge: scrap metal, bulky appliances, select electronics, lead acid batteries and vehicle tires (suggested $10 donation per tire).
