1. Does the E-Waste Recycling program accept other appliances, like microwaves?: E-Cycling Maui does not accept microwave ovens or large appliances such as washers, air conditioners, stoves. Residents may take these items for no drop-off charge to Hammerhead Metals in Central Maui Base Yard.

2. What can I do with my used or broken cell phone?: The Maui YMCA accepts old cell phones for recycling. Call (808) 242-9007 for information.

3. What if I don’t see a recycling program in Maui for my electronic waste item?: It will likely need to be landfilled. Ask if the manufacturer of the item has a take-back program.
