INVITATION FOR BIDS
Pursuant to Chapter 103-D, HRS, sealed offers are being accepted for the supplying, furnishing and paying for all labor, materials, tools, transportation and equipment necessary to construct in place complete, all work shown and called for in the specifications for the "REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF THE LIEBERT CHILLED WATER UNIT IN THE DISPATCH CENTER OF THE WAILUKU POLICE STATION", IFB NO. 08-09/P-37, for the Maui Police Department, County of Maui.
Offers shall be received and time stamped by the Bid Receiver, Purchasing Division, Department of Finance, Wells Street Professional Center, 2145 Wells Street, Suite 104, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii 96793 by 2:00 p.m. on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2008, and shall be publicly opened thereafter.
Specifications and Offer Form may be obtained at the Purchasing Division, Department of Finance, at the address above.
All prospective bidders shall possess the appropriate General Contractors License or Specialty Contractors License, with appropriate subcontractor(s) held in the State of Hawaii.
The Contractor and his Subcontractor(s), if any, shall comply with all applicable revisions of the prevailing wage schedule as required under Chapter 104, H.R.S.
No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by one of the following forms of bidders’ security: cash, a cashier’s check or certified check on a bank insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, or a bidder’s bond executed by an approved surety insurer, made payable to the Director of Finance in the manner, form, and amount required by Section 103D-323, Hawaii Revised Statues. The proposal guaranty shall be equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total bid amount submitted.
