The project involves constructing cement concrete raised traffic islands at the intersection of S. Kihei Road and Kanani Road, and on Alanui Kealii Drive at Kanakanui Road. The scope of work for both projects includes clearing and grubbing; extruded curb; pavement striping and markers; installing detectable warning pads; and traffic control. The traffic island at S. Kihei Road and Kanani Road includes the furnishing and installation of a street light standard foundation; electrical service connection; and the installation of an electrical conduit ductline. The traffic island on Alanui Kealii Drive includes the installation and reinstallation of traffic signs.
