SEALED BIDS for the OMAOPIO BOOSTER PUMP AND CONTROLS UPGRADE, OMAOPIO, MAUI, HAWAII, will be received by the Director of the Department of Water Supply, Kalana O Maui Building, 5th Floor, 200 South High Street, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii 96793, until 2:00 PM, NOVEMBER 30, 2017, at which time and place sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The project involves furnishing all labor, tools, materials and equipment as necessary to INSTALL BOOSTER PUMPS, MOTOR CONTROL CENTERS, SCADA, AND OTHER ELECTRICAL FACILITIES AT THE OMAOPIO WATER TANK SITE.
A compact disk (CD) containing the bid documents for this project may be purchased from the Engineering Division of the Department of Water Supply at a cost of TEN DOLLARS ($10.00). There will be no refund for these bid documents once they are purchased. Payment shall be in the form of cash, check or money order payable to "Department of Water Supply".
A pre-bid conference and tour of the project site is scheduled for 9:00 a.m., November 16, 2017. Bidders are not required to attend. Bidders shall meet at the Department of Water Supply, 5TH floor of the County Building, 200 South High Street, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii. Bidders intending to attend this pre-bid conference are requested to call 270-7835 and inform the Department of Water Supply of their intent to attend the conference at least seven (7) days prior to the date of the pre-bid conference.
To be eligible to bid, bidders must possess the applicable and valid State of Hawaii Contractor's license(s) to perform the work.
Bids must be accompanied by an acceptable form of bid security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the base bid, including additives, payable to the "County of Maui" and in compliance with Section 103D-323, Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended.
