Pursuant to Chapter 103-D, HRS, proposals are being accepted for supplying, furnishing and paying for all labor, materials, tools, transportation and equipment necessary to construct in place complete, all work shown and called for in the specifications for the "RENOVATIONS OF THE ELECTRICAL WIRING OF THE DISPATCH CENTER AT THE WAILUKU POLICE STATION", IFB NO. 09-10/P-18", Maui Police Department, County of Maui.
Sealed proposals shall be received and time stamped by the Bid Receiver, Purchasing Division, Department of Finance, Wells Street Professional Center, 2145 Wells St., Suite 104, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii 96793 by 2:00 p.m. on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2009, and shall be publicly opened thereafter.
Specifications and Proposal Form may be obtained at the Purchasing Division, Department of Finance, at the address above.
All prospective bidders shall possess a "C-13" Electrical Contractor’s license held in the State of Hawaii, with appropriate subcontractor(s).
The Contractor and his Subcontractor(s), if any, shall comply with all applicable revisions of the prevailing wage schedule as required under Chapter 104, H.R.S.
A mandatory pre-bid inspection is scheduled for Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. All prospective bidders shall meet fronting the Hale Maka’i facility. Those who do not attend the pre-bid meeting and register their attendance in writing will not be permitted to bid on this project.
No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by one of the following forms of bidders’ security: cash, a cashier’s check or certified check on a bank insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, or a bidder’s bond executed by an approved surety insurer, made payable to the Director of Finance in the manner, form, and amount required by Section 103D-323, Hawaii Revised Statues. The proposal guaranty shall be equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total bid amount submitted.
