INVITATION FOR BIDS


Pursuant to Chapter 103-D, HRS, sealed offers are being accepted for the supplying, furnishing and paying for all labor, materials, tools, transportation and equipment necessary to construct in place complete, all work shown and called for in the drawings and specifications titled "INTERIOR ALTERATIONS FOR THE REAL PROPERTY TAX DIVISION IN THE MAUI MALL, SUITE A18, IFB NO.10-11/ P-46", for the Real Property Tax Division, County of Maui.

Offers shall be received by the Bid Receiver, Purchasing Division, Department of Finance, until 2:00 p.m. on TUESDAY, APRIL 19, 2011.

A compact disc containing the plans with specifications and proposal may be obtained at the Purchasing Division, Department of Finance, located in the Wells Professional Building, 2145 Wells Street, Suite 104, Wailuku, HI 96793. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall be on the Proposal Form provided on the compact disc furnished by said Department. Bids received after the established due date and time will not be considered.

All prospective bidders shall possess a "B" General Building Contractors License, with appropriate subcontractor(s) held in the State of Hawaii.

The Contractor and his Subcontractor(s), if any, shall comply with all applicable revisions of the prevailing wage schedule as required under Chapter 104, H.R.S.

No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by one of the following forms of bidders= security: cash, a cashier=s check or certified check on a bank insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, or a bidder=s bond executed by an approved surety insurer, made payable to the Director of Finance in the manner, form, and amount required by Section 103D-323, Hawaii Revised Statues. The proposal guaranty shall be equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid submitted.
