NOTICE TO BIDDERS
PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 103D, HRS, SEALED BIDS shall be received up to and be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 P.M. ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2011, by the Bid Receiver, Purchasing Division, Department of Finance at 2145 Wells Street, Suite 104, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii, 96793, and shall be labeled:
WAILUKU FIRE STATION ROOF REPAIRS IFB NO. 11-12/P-31
A compact disc containing the plans, specifications, and bid proposal form may be obtained at the Purchasing Division at the above address.
The work includes the furnishing of all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to construct in place complete, reroofing and related improvements at the existing Wailuku Fire Station.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted for the project. Attendance is not mandatory for bidders. Interested parties are to meet at 10:00 A.M. ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2011, at the Wailuku Fire Station, 21 Kinipopo Street, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii 96793.
Bidders shall be licensed in accordance with Chapter 444, HRS, relating to the licensing of contractors.
No bid proposal will be considered unless accomplished by an acceptable form of bid security in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total bid amount.
The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any defects if it believes the rejection or waiver is in the best interested on the County.
