SEALED BIDS for OLINDA WATER TREATMENT FACILITY IMPROVEMENT - RELINE 8.5 MG RESERVOIR, DWS JOB NO. 08-07, ISLAND OF MAUI, STATE OF HAWAII, will be received by the Director of the Department of Water Supply, Kalana O Maui Building, 5th Floor, 200 South High Street, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii 96793, until 2:00 P.M. ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2012, at which time and place sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The project involves furnishing all labor, tools, materials and equipment as specified in the bid documents for application of a spray elastomer liner system to reline the 8.5 MG pre-sedimentation reservoir. The lining system shall be spray applied, 100% polyurea, fast cure, high-build lining system, and ANSI/NSF 61 approved.

Bid documents may be obtained from the Department of Water Supply Engineering Division at a cost of TEN DOLLARS ($10.00) per set. A CD containing the bid documents also can be purchased for an additional $10. There will be no refund for these bid documents once they are purchased. Payment shall be in the form of cash, check or money order payable to “Department of Water Supply”.

A pre-bid conference and project tour has been scheduled at 9:00 A.M. ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 31, 2012. Bidders are not required to attend. Bidders shall meet at the Department of Water Supply Naska Baseyard located at 614 Palapala Drive, Kahului, Maui, Hawaii, at the date and time stated above.

To be eligible to bid, bidders must posses applicable and valid State of Hawaii contractor licenses to perform the work.

Bids must be accompanied by an acceptable form of bid security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the total sum bid, payable to the "Department of Water Supply" and in compliance with Section 103D-323, Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended.
